Some of my favorites.

Saturday Kev and I woke up bright and early for our 6 mile run! We had mapped it out the night before and were ready to go. Six miles seems a lot longer when you’re running than it does on a drive! (duh) The run was really pretty, country land, farms, old barns, fields and forests. I was scoping out possible photo shoot areas the whole time. Ops! At least it kept my mind off the actual running.
After the run we got our day started. Kev and I took a drive down to the beach. One of the things I love about the ocean is how much it affects everything. Bare with me here. The day was sunny and warm at Kev’s house, but at the beach, a 10 minute drive away, it was cold, windy, and so foggy! The fog was so thick it felt like you could grab it. I love the ocean.
We grabbed a couple quick pictures. I had to hide in the dunes to avoid freezing in the wind. I’m so glad I held up to the weather because these are my favorite pictures from the weekend.
We decided to try the bay side for some hanging out. Another thing I love about the ocean is that when it's foggy there the bay side tends to be nice and sunny. This time was no exception to the rule. Kev and I hung around the bay side beach for a while. We watched some people unsuccessfully try to learn how to kite board. They never got the kite off the beach.
The next location was a quick stop at one of the fields I had found during our run! Afternoon lighting again, it does wonders. What do you think, beach outfit or field outfit?
I’ve never been much of a pink person. Recently I thought about that and decided I needed to try it. I’m glad I decided to change my ideas of pink in time to buy this dress from Modcloth. It’s pretty much perfect and I really like how the pink looks with my brown hair, if I do say so myself. The big crocheted sleeves, wonderful. The soft sweater material, marvelous. Comfortable, functional, and cute? Get out of town.
And now more boots. Mmm boots. I have to say I love this color the neutral, gray, beige tones are ideal for me. I tend to wear boots until they fall apart. The color and style of these suede Vintage Frye Boots will go with just about everything, which will give me every opportunity to wear them until they can’t be worn anymore. Although I really hope I take better care of these. I don’t think I could part with them. The first day I wore them I’m pretty sure I was looking at my feet the entire day. They're another Etsy purchase, from Old Baltimore Vintage! Check them out.
The scarf and necklace are stolen/borrowed, however you want to look at it, from my mom. Scavenging in my mom’s closet is the easiest way I know to find vintage things. The added bonus is that they mean so much more to me because they are hers. The necklace is made from my mom’s high school ring. She bought it way too small because she wanted to make a necklace out of it instead of wearing it as a ring. It doesn’t even fit my pinky finger.
I hope you all love this outfit and these pictures as much as I do. I am having so much fun so far.
Thank you Kev for the pictures!

such a beautiful, beautiful outfit. i feel like it perfectly combines the beginning of spring...there's a little bit of influence from fall, but it's definitely meant to be worn now. :) I LOVE IT, esp the flower wrap on your head...those are my favorite accessories. :)

I love that last photo of you! I live four blocks from the ocean and it's amazing how quickly the weather can change. In the spring and summer we have this amazing fog that you can see rolling over rooftops and down the street, it's incredible!
